I am starting this site with the aim of communicating useful permaculture based information through music. We all get songs stuck in our head. But wouldn't it be nice if those catchy little tunes contained more useful information than what is mostly on offer. In I step, with the aim of making addictive little memory tools useful for design, landscape reading, compost making and many other aspects to good permaculture practice.
The post is called It All Starts Somewhere, because I'm so keen to get this started that all I have to put up are some unfinished lyrics for a song in progress.....
I do in fact have a back catalogue and I am signed to Mushroom music (Australia) but none of the songs are exactly what I want to do within the Permaculture Nation so to speak, so here is the start of something I think I'm going to enjoy quite a bit.....

Hi Nathan. In case you don't see the reply at Permaculture Reflections, you are welcome to use our information.
As for encoding information in song, it's a cool idea - something I don't have the talent for.
Oh when yer diggin' swales
Make sure they're on contour
Put wide ones in the desert
And narrower ones elsewhere
Space 'em 3 to 20 times
The width of one swale
And sure you plant lots of tree
Or you will go to hell.
You can see what I mean;D
